vocational Certificate Qualification
The minimum entry requirement for vocational certificates is a KCSE certificate or equivalent.
Certificate in Accounting and Management Skills
The minimum entry requirement for certificate qualification is KCSE mean grade D or equivalent qualifications or a vocational certificate.
Diploma Qualification
The minimum entry requirement for diploma qualifications is KCSE mean grade C- OR IGCSE mean grade D or a certificate in Accounting and Management Skills or any other kasneb technician or diploma examination certificate.
Professional Qualification
The minimum entry requirement for professional courses is KCSE mean grade C+, or Kenya Advanced Certificate of Education with atleast two principal passes provided that the applicant has credits in Mathematics and English at Kenya Certificate of Education level or equivalent qualifications, or kasneb technician, diploma or professional examination certificate or a degree from a recognised university, or IGCSE mean grade of C in 6 papers.
Post-Professional Qualification
The minimum entry requirement for post-professional qualifications is kasneb Professional Qualification or Bachelors Degree from a recognised university or any other qualification considered equivalent to the above.

To apply for KASNEB exemptions, send scanned copies of your degree certificate and transcripts from first year to fourth year to info@kasneb.or.ke and indicate the units that you need to be exempted.
